The following are the 5 main board certifications for homeopaths in the U.S. and Canada. (There are others in Canada also).
RSHom (NA) Registered Society of Homeopaths North America- form NASH the North American Society of Homeopaths. This is the professional association for professional homeopaths. This a board certification of the highest level.
CCH- Certified Classical Homeopath from the CHC- the Council for Homeopathic Certifcation. Open to all homeopaths. Until recently this was a very high level board certification. More recently the standards have slipped.
DHANP- Diplomate Homeopathic Association of Naturopathic Physicians- from the HANP - Homeopathic Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Board certifcation for naturopaths who have gone on nto study more homeopathy that most naturopaths receive.
D.Ht.- Diplomate of Homeotheraputics from the AIH= American Institue of Homeopathy. Board certification for medical doctors who have gone on to study homeopathy.
IHC- International Homeopathic Certification- from Association for International Homeopathic Certifcation- brand new attempt to have one standard for homeopathy worldwide. So new that almost no one has it yet.
I reccomend that you only see a homeopath who has one or more of the board certifications above. Other initials are usually from schools or unrelated to homeopathy. Insist on one of the above board certifications
